Many users were unable to access our app over the weekend due to a database error. We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. We've been working hard on database exceptions, but this shouldn't be a problem anymore when using our app. This is the main focus of this update.

With our most recent Flutter 2 update, it was finally time for our subscription plans to improve as well!

We are overjoyed to inform our users that we have switched to Revenuecat. Revenuecat is a platform that makes it easier to manage in-app purchases in our app.

With this integration, we hope to improve our payment flow as well as your app experience with Learn C Programming: Programiz.

Note: With such a huge migration, we made sure that all current subscribed users should have no interruptions in their subscriptions! If you encounter any problems, please notify us as soon as possible. We will work hard to correct such errors.

This release, we have dedicated effort to correcting current issues so that our users can have a better app experience. We addressed difficulties with the "Run” button and the "grey screen" that appeared after some examples on completion.

We've also worked on the issue of blank feedback submission where users could previously send us empty messages.

Furthermore, we have worked on fixing a number of recurring exceptions reported by our users, including database exceptions and difficulties with the loading of the pricing page, which limited our users from enjoying features of Programiz Pro.

This build also fixes issues on profile for users with lengthy usernames. Previously, the interface of the profile page did not appear to be as good as it should have been for users with longer usernames. This release should make the design of our app more aligned with our vision.

These additions should make learning using our app a lot more enjoyable and for you to get the best of all things Programiz.

In our efforts to solve the major existing issues in our app to give our users a superior experience, this week, we safely resolved the issue with the ‘exampleId’. The issue was seen at a point where a user needed to see a suggested example, but we were unable to retrieve it for them to see it.

The issue with the jumpy contextual information section on the selected menu item of the feedback form has been resolved. When the keyboard popped out, the area of the contextual information resized which is no longer an issue.

We have also added lots of performance improvements for this release. On older versions, our app took the wrong index of the course status causing loading issues and intolerable experiences with the app.

This build fixes exactly that and some server exceptions regarding command timeout and null exceptions on recent lesson progression.

We have finally implemented feedback forms in our app. From the profile page to the compiler, there are several places within the app where you can contact the Programiz team. We're hoping it will boost communication to a whole new level! Your suggestions and concerns would be greatly appreciated. On the sign up page, we've made a few design changes. New users will be informed that their names will appear on certificates and that they will not be able to change them once they have signed up. On that note, we'd like to inform our users that the app's subscription logic has been refactored to provide a much more seamless experience on both sides.

Compiler fixes!

On iOS, there have been many users affected by the smart quotes issues on our compiler. With this release, we have fixed that very issue. We have implemented a fix where we enable the straight quotes right when the compiler notices a smart quote.

This build additionally fixes another crucial issue where the user couldn’t use the compiler from our Examples section. Whenever a user tried to tap on the compiler, the keyboard would blink on each touch. From now on, it's safe to say you'll be able to code without facing such a tangle ever again!

Upgrade time!

For this version, we have finally implemented push notifications on the app. When notifications are sent out, now you can see the notification card appear at the top of the dashboard. This upgrade is bound to keep you up to date on all of the changes and upgrades that are headed your way!

We have also complied with a newer version of Google Mobile Ads SDK and completely replaced our interstitial ads with banner ads on the app. Non-PRO users of our app will now see a new screen for ads that provides much more context to the ads you will see on the app.

We have made a subtle design change to the pricing page. You will no longer see the status bar on the page. Not only that, we have implemented a few design fixes on quiz and compiler as well.
